Only Cr Pepperell voted against the rates increase.Voting at a meeting of full Council on 27/6/2008 to continue to shift the commercial rates onto the residential rates bill were the following councillors:

Only Councillor Pepperell voted against shifting the commercial rates onto the residents at the earlier Strategy and Policy committee meeting .
