WALKING THE TALK - Carterton's Mayor Gary McPhee

Gary says hello to a group of visiting motorcyclists
Gary McPhee Mayor of Carterton 2007
The Mayor of Carterton Gary McPhee is a man who prefers to do things rather than talk. He is unpretentious and down to earth. A man with exceptional practical and creative skills, Gary McPhee understands the pressures of working for a living and he is good for Carterton. Gary is standing again for the position of Mayor in the October election and that's a good thing as he has more to offer the good people of Carterton.

I say, Bryan,

A real 'Man of the People' is Mr. McFee.
From memory, he has always been a 'Do-er' rather than a talker and a man of his word.

What a pity we can't replace the current Wellington City Council with his like.

Of course, we can make a good start by electing you as Mayor this year Bryan.

I'll definitely be voting for you.

I remember Garry McFee Pepp!

All round good bloke & real eccentric as I remember.

Above all though, a man of his word.
He'd be one of the few politicians in New Zealand I'd rely on to do as he says.

Must admit Pepp... you're the other!
Get in as Mayor this year. We need some leadership & integrity.

We haven't had either for a very long time!!

Dear Mr McPhee,
I saw you on TV tonight and I want you to know I support you 100%! I am finally glad to see someone who has common sence and guts to stand up for what he believes in! If you do start a campaign (which I think you should) I would be right behind you, and I know hundreds of others who would back you too!! I really wish you the very best, and it is such a breath of fresh air to see some one with straight thinking!

Like many others in our once peaceful, safe country, I am sickened at the manner in which our current regime handles these violent "scum" infesting our society today, pandering to their every wish but almost ignoring their victims. Along with the many others, I wish to offer my full support for Mayor Gary McPhee & his stand against these virmin who prey on the innocent & wish to see Mr. McPhee run for Prime Minister !!!!!!! Then maybe once again, we will be able to walk our streets in relative safety. The next batch of bumper stickers should read, "GARY McPHEE FOR P.M."

McPhee is a violent recidivist offender. A bully who picks mainly on small defenceless people. He and his drunken mate smashed in the door of a local flat and assaulted the occupants without any provocation at all, he's a gutless wonder, thick as two short planks, and a total liar, who should be charged with the violent attack on the occupants of the flat. I won't support anyone who thinks he's worthy of this sycophantic rubbish! Checkout the REAL news on http://kate-raue.blogspot.com. Like Beyer the Liar, McPhee is a dead loss!
