Thank you just wonder where some of them are coming from especially with the
Mayor's comments re the World Rugby about accommodation booked out, restaurants
bars etc....she surely has a conflict of interest.....
Cheers
Pauline
Yes Pauline, our Mayor would have a conflict of interest providing she could see through our eyes, and while you have just mentioned the obvious, what about Nova Gas?
Through a partnership with Todd Energy and the help of the ratepayers who forked out 50% of the set-up cost, Nova Gas is now selling us our own shit back and they got it for FREE as part of the deal Prendergast did on our behalf with NO RETURN to the ratepayers (sounds like privatisation to me) Commercial operators in the CBD also reap the benifits and cut the cost of running their business even more thanks to Kerry's forward thinking. I imagine this would be welcomed with open arms by Hoteliers with huge powerbills when fully booked with rugby/soccer fans.
